Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully, before accessing the following website www.silverclayschool.co.uk (the “Service”) operated by Silver Clay School (“we”, “us” or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Service.
Definitions
- Silver Clay School Online Programme (“Online Programme”) – currently the Silver Clay School 12-month Online Programme
- Membership Fee – the monthly amount due as detailed on the Silver Clay School sign up page.
- Enrolled Student – person currently enrolled in the Silver Clay School Online Programme
- Standalone Student – person who has previously purchased a Silver Clay School standalone module or has signed up to a Silver Clay School free challenge.
- Alumni – person who has completed in full, the Silver Clay School Online Programme
- Facebook Student Group (“FB Group”) – The official Silver Clay School student Facebook group administered by us.
- Lifetime Access – currently refers to the lifetime of the FB Group
- In Person Training Courses apply to all offline classes (Group Classes, 1:1 Classes etc) run by Silver Clay School (“instructor”).
Terms and Conditions
1.Subscriptions
By subscribing to the Online Programme, enrolled students acknowledge that they will be committing to a monthly Membership Fee payable via the Payment Gateway payable on the day of subscription and on the same day of each subsequent month thereafter, until expiry of the Online Programme or cancelled according to the conditions specified in Section 3 (whichever comes sooner). On completion of the monthly fee payment, the applicable Module will be made available to access online.
2. Missed Subscription payments
If any enrolled student is experiencing difficulty meeting the monthly subscription, please contact Silver Clay School at info@silverclayschool.co.uk. Unfortunately, if a subscription payment is missed, the membership account will be suspended until payment is received in full.
If more than three contiguous payments are missed during the lifetime of the enrolled membership, the subscription will be automatically cancelled. In such circumstances this will be deemed a student-initiated cancellation, and the terms detailed in Section 3 Cancellation will take immediate effect.
3. Cancellation
Enrolled students may cancel their subscription at any time within the subscription period of the Online Programme. The cancellation MUST be performed by the student through our membership portal, the details of which are provided when joining.
Students exercising their right of cancellation will lose access to all Silver Clay School materials (including but not limited to videos, documentation and FB Group access) immediately following cancellation.
Members who enjoyed an Introductory/Special subscription offer will be required to pay the full subscription price on re-joining. If you decide to restart the Online Programme, monthly payments will begin from Module 1.
Silver Clay School reserve the right to cancel any student’s subscription, with the resulting loss of access to all materials, without notice at any time.
4. Community Behaviour
Silver Clay School is committed to being a safe and nurturing environment for fellow artists and Silver Clay enthusiasts. As such any aggressive or abusive behaviour within the online Silver Clay community will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate termination of the responsible individual’s subscription and membership access rights. No refund will be given in such circumstances.
5. Membership of Facebook Student Group
All students will be granted access to the FB Group and will be expected to adhere to the Community Behaviour guidelines in section 4
For Standalone Students access will be for a period of one year following their most recent purchase of a Silver Clay School standalone module.
For Enrolled Students access will be for the period of enrolment in Silver Clay School Online Programme.
For Alumni, this will consist of lifetime access.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
Students may download modules and student material for which they have been given access, to devices for personal, non-commercial use only. Ownership of such materials remains with Silver Clay School. No alterations are permitted to these materials without explicit written consent from Silver Clay School.
7. Copyright
All materials on this website and the FB Group, both digital and non-digital (including but not limited to videos, documentation, and FB Group posts) remain the sole property of Silver Clay School. This includes materials downloaded from the website and stored on personal devices. Members are not permitted to copy, distribute or share any materials via either digital or non-digital methods, without first obtaining the explicit written consent of Silver Clay School. Any violation may result in immediate termination of membership and loss of all access rights.
8. Firing Service
Customers who choose to take advantage of our Firing Service do so at their own risk. Whilst the utmost care will be taken with all our client’s property, Silver Clay School take no responsibility for loss or damage. This includes (but is not limited to) damage that may result from the firing process, from the necessary handling of the objects being fired or to items in transit.

I will attempt to respond to your queries quickly, but if an immediate resolution is not possible, I will try my very best to provide a timeline in which to expect one.
The following terms and conditions pertain to the In Person Training Courses only.
10. Course Fee
All course fees are final and non-refundable.
11. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment at least 5 working days prior to the course date.
12. Rescheduling In Person Training Courses
Participants may be allowed to reschedule their class to a different date or time up to 48 hours prior to the course date. Only one rescheduling request may be made and the requested date must be within 3 months of the original course date, subject to availability and agreement with the instructor.
13. Materials and Tools
The cost of materials and tools required for the class will be included in the course fee, with the exception of Gold which will be charged separately. Participants are responsible for handling and returning tools and equipment in good condition.
14. Safety Regulations
Participants are expected to adhere to all safety guidelines provided by the instructor during the class. Any misuse of tools or materials that results in damage or injury may lead to removal from the class without refund.
15. Liability
The instructor cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the class, unless due to their negligence.
16. Participation Age
The minimum age restriction for participants is 18. Minors will need to be accompanied by a paying guardian.
17. Photography and Recording
Participants may be allowed to take photos or videos for personal, non-commercial use only, as specified by the instructor.
18. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards the instructor and fellow participants. Any disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without refund.
19. Changes and Updates
The instructor reserves the right to make changes to the schedule or other details of the class. Participants will be notified of any significant changes in advance and will be eligible for a full refund if requested.
20. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded and have no cash value. All Gift Vouchers are issued with an expiry date. The voucher recipient must book and schedule the class within the agreed expiry date, unless agreed otherwise with Silver Clay School.
