Silver Clay Spinner Rings
Learn how to make these fun, beautiful and tactile rings out of Silver Clay!
I love a spinner ring! My mum always called me a footer - a Scots word for fidget. I was always playing with something in my hands! So silver clay spinner rings are great for me - combining two things I love to do! This project is perfect for those of us who want a little bit more from our jewellery!
In this on demand course, you will learn how to make three types of silver clay spinner rings...
The first - simple and elegant with deceptively simple ridges around the edges to make sure the spinning rings stay in place.
The second - a wide band with a separate spinning ring, made and fired then shaped afterwards. So if you like hammering your Silver Clay - you'll love this method!
The third - we form the entire ring with fluted edges on the mandrel before firing. This is perfect for you if you don't want to spend extra money on silversmithing tools.
Which one will suit you?
