All About Silver Clay School With Emma Gordon
Now you may have been spending loads of time on the internet trawling trying to find Silver Clay classes that fit your schedule, fit your budget and most of all make you feel comfortable.
You might be worrying about how to ask for that day off, or get someone to look after the kids for a day whilst you spend your time doing something creative, that’s just for you.
You may think that you’re not creative, that you don’t have time for all that and although you know it’s important to have ME TIME, how can you possibly fit all that in.
Well maybe I can help you.
My name is Emma Gordon and I am ridiculously passionate about silver clay and jewellery making!
Over the past 14 years, I have taught hundreds of students all about the wonderful medium that is Silver Clay and I still get a kick out of watching beginners brush their first piece of fired silver.
I have been lucky enough to train with some of the best Silver Clay artists in the world, learn from them and incorporate their tricks and techniques into my working style. And I love passing on my knowledge and experience to my students.
“I love to learn new techniques and incorporate them into my own Silver Clay designs”
“I’m lucky enough to have a beautiful fully-equipped studio dedicated to silver clay”
We as women put ourselves to the bottom of the pile when it comes to doing things just for us.
I know, I have 2 children and a husband and a dog. And I also had an elderly father to be concerned about.
But if your fingers are twitching to do something, itching to make something and you’ve always loved Jewellery – whether that’s making it or wearing (me, I love both), then Silver Clay School will have something to suit you.
Whether that’s attending a Studio workshop with me in person or enrolling in my on-line Silver Clay School Creative Club, I can assure you of in-depth and considered training with carefully planned lessons and handouts that leave you feeling that you can go away and actually do this!

(What I do when I am not elbow deep in Silver Clay)
I’m a Scottish woman living in Fife with my lovely, kind and deeply understanding husband (thank goodness). We are lucky to have 2 fabulous children who keep us on our toes and a very cute dog that takes us out for walks.
I love spending time with my family and I love spending time in old places, which have a history and a story to tell.
Before I decided to open up my first creative business, Bluebell Design Studio in 2007, I worked in a very corporate environment where my jobs included help desk operator, training consultant, process manager and AP manager….. I was lucky enough to travel the world with some of these jobs and stay in some amazing places that I would have perhaps never visited.
I love watching all sort of design and make shows on the telly and the Great British Bake Off is a favourite of mine. I enjoy prosecco and eating crisps and being cosy on chilly nights – I was born in October, so I think it’s a throwback to babyhood!
