This whimsical online Silver Clay Workshop, Silver Clay and Dichroic Glass, assumes you will have some knowledge of working with Silver Clay – you don’t have to be an expert, just someone with a good working knowledge.
In this Silver Clay and Dichroic Glass workshop you will learn:
- How to set the dichroic glass in clay so that it doesn’t run the risk of cracking
- The ins and outs of setting cabochons in silver clay
- Five different ways of setting glass
- How to add fireable cabochons
- How to create a loop bail and a coil and loop bail
- How to fire your glass safely
- Where to buy beautiful glass cabochons
A KILN is also necessary for this online workshop. I do offer a kiln firing service if you don’t have access to one.
