Module Three – Stacker Rings

Module 3 banner

Hello again and welcome to Module Three! This module is really exciting because it’s the first of your ring projects. But it’s the easiest set of rings to make because there is no join to be concerned about. We only have to worry about sizing and shrinkage for this project.

So dive in! Unlike the project photo – because we covered simple stone setting in Silver Clay last time, I decided to add another element for you instead – so we are setting our stones in bezel cups which means you can add stones that can’t be fired to your work this month. I’ve added a wee bonus video in addendum to your Ring Making Module which is called Top Tips For Round Rings. I suggest you watch this video too before starting your project. It’s been put here since I have had a lot of requests for tips on the subject in the Facebook Group.

Also in this month are a couple of very valuable little videos, showing you how to repair cracks and divots – to make them seem as if they never happened! And….another bonus video all about Flush Setting! I didn’t want to overload you last Module with stone setting, so here’s another method to add to your growing arsenal!

As always, I will be arround in the Facebook group to answer any and all silver clay related questions – so just shout if you need me!

Module 3 has 2 elements:

Training Document – step by step coloured photos showing you the way

How to Video – tips and tricks

Bonus Modules include

Ring Sizing Chart for US, UK and European sizes

Shrinkage Calculator – this to help you calculator how much bigger you need to make your piece so it shrinks to the size you want.

How to measure your finger using a ring sizer Video

How to repair a divot or deep crack and How to repair a break Videos

Flush Stone Setting

I really hope you enjoy this month’s module and enjoy making your stacker rings. You can make a choice of stone setting depending on the stones you want to use now too!
